Valve has introduced a built-in game recorder in the Steam client, optimized for the Steam Deck. This new feature simplifies capturing and sharing gameplay while offering flexible, convenient options for recording, replaying, and sharing footage. Currently in beta, the recorder works with most Steam games and some non-Steam titles and includes functionalities like background recording, marking key moments, and integration with voice chat.
